Truthfully I don't know how to answer this question. I could put down my mother and my family to get it over with but that wouldn't be enough. The people that I find to be heroes in my life are those that I see trying and not giving up, the ones that I see taking on more than they ever thought that they could and failing over and over until they succeed. Anyone can be a hero and honestly I believe everyone is one in some way or form to at least one person that knows them.
I live surrounded by heroes because each and every person I encounter pushes me to do better even if they don't realize it. I live my life to make life better for others, I live to make the world a better place in each and every thing I do. I see everyone as a hero whether they are teaching me a lesson of what I don't want to be doing in life or they show me a new way to see something. Learn from others and life can be so much better, the only person that can decide how you react to those things is yourself.

Question #27: Which historical figure do you most identify with?
The historical figure I most identify with is not well known and I only learned about her when I was in the peak of my fascination with pirates. Although I disagree with her looting and pillaging there were some admirable traits she had. Ching Shih is the historical figure I most identify with.
I started to do research on her before I started college about 4 years ago and she ended up turning into my famous person speech for my speech class. I spoke on her treatment of women captives and the laws she had put in place for her fleet to protect them. I also spoke on her impressive military prowess and business practices as I had been going into business myself. She ruled over 70,000 pirates during her time which is around the same amount of people currently residing within my hometown. I have been placed in leadership opportunities just like she has and I craved power, now I like to observe others and give suggestions from behind the scenes as I let others take on more. If I feel I need to step up and do more I will.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?
How?
Sometimes I ask myself this question. How? How do I do things? How am I able to complete tasks? How am I able to sleep at night? How am I able to be the person that I am?
Over the unexpected hiatus, I have done the following things:
I never see the things I do as things that deserve to be praised, I just do things because they need to be done and I try to do them to the best of my abilities. Simply put I am just living my life to try to be the best that I can be at the end of the day.
______
How do you do the things that you do?
Over the unexpected hiatus, I have done the following things:
- Ran a fundraiser for my club
- Had a meeting with the president of the board of directors for my internship
- Assisted with a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization
- Submitted a speech for review to apply for being the student speaker at the Spring 2019 graduation ceremony
- Auditioned to be the student speaker at my graduation ceremony and was chosen
- Took pictures of the museum I am interning at for the new website and for social media
- Went to an ice cream place and asked for recommendations and was not disappointed
- Went to the National Leadership Conference for Business Professionals of America
- Became certified in Microsoft Office: Word 2016 through a competition
- Was sunburnt to the point of shaking from pain for two days and then being unbearably itchy
- Placed in the top ten for the events I competed in for the National Leadership Conference
- Completed two sets of minutes for meetings that I was not present at
- Assisted students in classes where I had procrastinated to the point of being afraid I would fail
- Assisted students in classes I did not previously take
- Allowed a complete stranger to use one of my previous projects as an example
- Allowed a classmate to use a rough draft of a project as an example
- Was emailed by the nonprofit I assisted for the fundraiser to apply for a marketing position
- Finished a marketing plan for a business I wish to begin in the future
- Assisted in the set up of the graduation ceremony
- Had a fancy dinner with the speakers for the graduation ceremony
- Spoke at my commencement ceremony as the student speaker
- Was given feedback on my speech that will stick with me for a long time
- Was approached by people from my past
- Was thanked by a mother and daughter for assisting the daughter in classes
- Was contacted by someone I didn't think I would hear from ever again and have talked to them every day since
- Was interviewed and hired to be the Marketing Coordinator at a nonprofit organization
- Finished creating the new website for the museum I was interviewing at
- Turned a four-page marketing plan into an eighteen-page marketing plan
- Volunteered for a homeless count in my hometown and let my coworker know that I have been homeless twice in my life
- Became an apprentice event and wedding planner
- Went to a business after-hours event for my job alone
- Volunteered for Vocational Bible School at a Lutheran church while being Agnostic
- Working in a higher capacity at my tutoring job than I ever thought possible
- Was given thank you cards just for doing my secretarial job and being knowledgeable
- Have been thanked and praised by my coworkers at the nonprofit I work at where I strive to support them in any way I can because they are passionate about the cause
Among the listed things I attended classes, completed projects, worked regular hours at my jobs, and attended meetings as needed.
I never see the things I do as things that deserve to be praised, I just do things because they need to be done and I try to do them to the best of my abilities. Simply put I am just living my life to try to be the best that I can be at the end of the day.

Question #26: Who is your hero of fiction?
Growing up there is one movie, one story that stuck with me. Alice in Wonderland, to believe in the impossible until it becomes possible. Perseverance in its purest form, or a drug trip that went way too far. To me, this story has led me to where I am in life, I believe in the impossibilities of the world and that eventually, they may be possible. I grew up being encouraged to pursue the arts and being told that I am too pure and nice to do much else. I've proved those individuals wrong, I have made what they believe to be impossible for me to do possible. I am in the business world with both an accounting and marketing degree and in a high standing position within a nonprofit organization, right out of college, that does not mean though that I don't still enjoy art and everything that comes with it.
I know that throughout my life I will have people oppose my decisions in one form or another and I am fine with that because it'll give me the opportunity to prove them wrong, that I can do what they believe to be impossible of me. In my personal life, I am quiet allowing my eyes to watch those around me and observe what they are doing, I choose to sit in the background and see what others will do. In my professional life, I take center stage and become extroverted asserting my views and asking questions of those around me trying to raise up those around me. I keep work and personal separate, I leave work at work even if some of my pet projects may reflect on the place I work at it won't enter over into that realm fully.
I have known for a long time that I am a walking contradiction in most things that I do and I am okay with that because that is when you get the best reactions from those that are given the chance to see both sides. I believe I am similar to Alice in that way and that's why I hope to live like she does, believing in the impossible and making it possible. I will take life at my own pace and even if I may seem as if I am late, I am perfectly on time.

Question #25: Who are your favorite writers?
I feel as if with each of these questions there is a common theme, that I like passionate people.
I read probably at least two to three hours a day usually more than that if time permits. I enjoy reading stories written by online authors on Wattpad, Archive of Our Own, Fanfiction.net, Toonmics, WebComics, Lezhin, Webtoon, and basically anything else I can get my hands on. If I were to choose one book though it would have to be Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce. In each piece that I read if I am no longer able to visibly see the passion that the author puts into their works I stop even if the story is still continuing, I stop. I need to be able to feel the excitement, the dread, all of the emotions that fill the author through each and every carefully selected word to create their stories otherwise I can't hold on, and I definitely cannot continue. I support passionate people in any way that I can and I feel as if I am able to see through the page into their souls and hearts because I can connect to others as one human to another. If a story gets put on hiatus for a long time and they come back even if it's five years or later I will continue to read as long as I can still connect to them and feel their passion. I love reading and everything that comes with it.
My favorite writers are those that are passionate.

Question #24: What do you most value in your friends?
One defining thing about my friends is that each and every single one is honestly unapologetically themselves. They're all chasing their dreams and working towards something that they want to honestly do with their lives.
I look to them for inspiration because to me each and every single one of the people I call a friend is inspirational. They live their lives for themselves and their dreams, they're passionate and honest. They go forward in life with each and every single thing that they do. They're advocates for causes that matter to them. If I were to describe each one to you I would tell you their names because honestly you really need to find out from them just who they are. None of them have just settled for mediocre.
I believe each of my friends to be able to do anything they put their minds to. I most value the individuality that my friends have and how none of them are the same.

Question #23: What is your most marked characteristic?
Something that I have heard lately is that I am confident, that I hold myself with confidence in the things that I do. I don't see it this way.
My mother's boyfriend was driving me around one day to complete a few tasks and he mentioned that I am confident and that is the number one defining characteristic of me. I see myself as someone who just does things. I do things to get things done. The way I describe my technology skills is that I know how to press buttons correctly. I can put my mind to do something and get it done as long as I am truly passionate about it. I don't think of myself in any other way than just being myself.
One day I was with my mother grocery shopping and this elderly lady came up to me and complimented me on my hair saying that the way I pulled it off so confidently made her want to get her hair done just like mine. I don't have a conventional haircut for the area that I live in at least, not for my gender. I thanked her after my surprise had worn off from being approached like that as it seems that whenever I am around elderly women they tend to compliment my hair, perhaps because I have a resting face where I don't really smile or perhaps they truly like it. I've thought on it but again I just cut my hair the way I do because it's what I do. I am just me.
If I were to say my most marked characteristic I would say that I am me. I have had friends and family attribute my actions to just being me or while describing me to others they would just tell them that I am my own individual. I pride myself in being myself, in living my life the way I do, in just doing things for the sake of doing them. I encourage others to do what is going to make them happy in life, to be the person that they truly want to be.
