How?

Sometimes I ask myself this question. How? How do I do things? How am I able to complete tasks? How am I able to sleep at night? How am I able to be the person that I am?

Over the unexpected hiatus, I have done the following things:
  1. Ran a fundraiser for my club
  2. Had a meeting with the president of the board of directors for my internship
  3. Assisted with a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization
  4. Submitted a speech for review to apply for being the student speaker at the Spring 2019 graduation ceremony
  5. Auditioned to be the student speaker at my graduation ceremony and was chosen
  6. Took pictures of the museum I am interning at for the new website and for social media
  7. Went to an ice cream place and asked for recommendations and was not disappointed
  8. Went to the National Leadership Conference for Business Professionals of America
  9. Became certified in Microsoft Office: Word 2016 through a competition
  10. Was sunburnt to the point of shaking from pain for two days and then being unbearably itchy
  11. Placed in the top ten for the events I competed in for the National Leadership Conference
  12. Completed two sets of minutes for meetings that I was not present at
  13. Assisted students in classes where I had procrastinated to the point of being afraid I would fail
  14. Assisted students in classes I did not previously take
  15. Allowed a complete stranger to use one of my previous projects as an example
  16. Allowed a classmate to use a rough draft of a project as an example
  17. Was emailed by the nonprofit I assisted for the fundraiser to apply for a marketing position
  18. Finished a marketing plan for a business I wish to begin in the future
  19. Assisted in the set up of the graduation ceremony
  20. Had a fancy dinner with the speakers for the graduation ceremony
  21. Spoke at my commencement ceremony as the student speaker
  22. Was given feedback on my speech that will stick with me for a long time
  23. Was approached by people from my past
  24. Was thanked by a mother and daughter for assisting the daughter in classes
  25. Was contacted by someone I didn't think I would hear from ever again and have talked to them every day since
  26. Was interviewed and hired to be the Marketing Coordinator at a nonprofit organization
  27. Finished creating the new website for the museum I was interviewing at
  28. Turned a four-page marketing plan into an eighteen-page marketing plan
  29. Volunteered for a homeless count in my hometown and let my coworker know that I have been homeless twice in my life
  30. Became an apprentice event and wedding planner
  31. Went to a business after-hours event for my job alone
  32. Volunteered for Vocational Bible School at a Lutheran church while being Agnostic
  33. Working in a higher capacity at my tutoring job than I ever thought possible
  34. Was given thank you cards just for doing my secretarial job and being knowledgeable
  35. Have been thanked and praised by my coworkers at the nonprofit I work at where I strive to support them in any way I can because they are passionate about the cause
Among the listed things I attended classes, completed projects, worked regular hours at my jobs, and attended meetings as needed.

I never see the things I do as things that deserve to be praised, I just do things because they need to be done and I try to do them to the best of my abilities. Simply put I am just living my life to try to be the best that I can be at the end of the day.
______

How do you do the things that you do?
